The vast majority of SABROE compressor models (both reciprocating and screw types) are available with variable-speed drive (VSD) to provide stepless control of your compressor capacity. This helps you achieve maximum cooling effect using the minimum of energy, as well as keeping operating costs to the absolute minimum. The combination of a frequency converter, a VSD motor and the Unisab III integrated systems controller makes it possible to run the drive motor at speeds that match the load at any given time.

This enables you to reduce energy costs by as much as 30% compared with traditional fixed-speed compressors.
