EVAPORATIVE CONDENSERS WITH AXIAL FANS CFR-A

Decsa's CFR-A series evaporative condensers, made of hot-dip galvanised Z-725 steel sheet, are equipped with state-of-the-art axial fans that optimise the L/G ratio within the units, thus reducing the power input and operating costs. The special DecsaCOATING PLUS protection also ensures a reduction in the use of chemicals products for water quality control, thus guaranteeing significant economic savings and greater environmental sustainability. The wide range of variants available completes the offer, making the CFR-A series an extremely flexible and suitable evaporative condenser for any type of application in refrigeration systems and cold chain applications.

As with the other Decsa products, the relevant certifications gained stand out from the CFR-A evaporative condensers. The equipment is certified according to the Quality System ISO 9001:2015 and Directive 2014/68/EU (PED) which allows the pressure tightness of the coils used up to 40 bar and the use with pressures up to 28 bar.

Structure and panels

The CFR-A series is designed with structures and panels made of hot-dip galvanised Z-725 steel. To simplify routine maintenance, the panels are easily removable without the need for dedicated tools.

Cold water basin

The cooled water collection basin is made of hot-dip galvanised Z-725 steel sheet, complete with a sloping bottom to prevent water stagnation, a cooled water outlet fitting with an easy-to-inspect anti-vortex filter, a drain and overflow fitting, a make-up water fitting with float, reinforced PVC air inlet grilles and a bleed pipe.

Heat Exchanger

The coil of the heat exchange section of the evaporative condensers series CFR-A is made up of coils in top quality steel tube, bent and then tested in a water tank at a pressure of 25 bar. The coil is then tested with compressed air at 40 bar, and subsequently galvanised by immersion in a molten zinc bath.

Fan section

The CFR-A evaporative condensers are manufactured with axial fans with a balanced impeller equipped with stationary adjustable blades with a high efficiency profile. The peripheral speed of the impeller is deliberately limited in order to ensure low noise levels. As with the REF-A and TMA-EU cooling towers, the CFR-A is also available with low-noise fans on request.

Finishing

It is possible to add the special protective epoxy powder coating DecsaCOATING PLUS to equipment , an additional protection available in all RAL colours.

The CFR-A series meets all reliability and low noise requirements of our customers. Designed to cool ammonia or refrigerant gases, these evaporative condensers have airfoil axial fans available in aluminium or FRP, depending on the model. Equipment certification to Directive 2014/68/EU (PED) ensures use with operating pressures up to 28 bar. It is suitable where high-efficiency evaporative condensers with low operating costs are required, especially for all applications in industrial refrigeration.

Low operating costs

The CFR-A series is designed to ensure low running costs, also thanks to the limited energy consumption of the motors that power the axial fans.

High resistance structure

The structure and panels are made of high-strength Z-725 hot-dip galvanised steel (725 g/sqm); the panels are complete with one or more watertight doors for internal inspection.

Certified coils

CFR-A evaporative condensers are manufactured in accordance with Directive 97/23/EC (PED) which guarantees the pressure tightness of coils installed up to 40 bar and authorises their use with operating pressures up to 28 bar.

Axial fans

The CFR-A series is equipped with the latest generation of axial fans, which optimise the L/G ratio within the unit, resulting in lower power consumption and reduced running costs.
