With regard to the production line of evaporative condensers for industrial use, Decsa offers, among the products manufactured, the CFR-C series, built with a Z-725 hot-dip galvanised sheet metal casing and equipped with low-noise, double-intake centrifugal fans.
Designed for condensing gases such as ammonia or other refrigerant gases, the CFR-C series has a capacity of 148 to 7281 kW and is suitable for industrial plant applications where reliability, efficiency, low noise and low operating costs are required.
Equipped with top-quality heat exchanger coils, CFR-C evaporative condensers with centrifugal fans ensure pressure tightness up to 40 bar and allow use with operating pressures up to 28 bar, in accordance with Directive 2014/68/EU (PED). The CFR-C series is also manufactured according to the quality standards of the ISO 9001 Quality System and in compliance with the ISO 14001 environmental management system. In order to ensure greater environmental sustainability and, at the same time, greater economic savings, Decsa has developed a special protection to be applied, on request, to the condensers and cooling towers in HDGS Z-725: an epoxy powder coating DecsaCOATING PLUS, which ensures a reduced use of chemicals for water quality control.
Cold water basin
The chilled water collection basin is made of hot-dip galvanised steel plate Z-725, complete with a sloping bottom to prevent stagnation of water, a chilled water outlet connection with anti-vortex filter, a drainage and overflow connection, a make-up water connection with float and a purge pipe with regulating valve.
Heat Exchanger
coils contained in the heat exchange section of the CFR-C evaporative condensers are made of electro-welded steel pipes of first choice and bent into coils individually tested with compressed air at 25 bar. Once the complete heat exchange coil has been manufactured, it is immersed in a water tank and tested with compressed air at 40 bar; the coils are then galvanised by immersion in a molten zinc bath according to EN ISO 1461.
Fan section
The fan section of the CFR-C series consists of dynamically balanced double-intake centrifugal fans with low-noise, forward-curved blades, mounted on solid or tubular shafts depending on the model. Transmission is by means of belts and trapezoidal pulleys, while safety equipment includes wire mesh guards on the air inlet.
Finishing
It is possible to add the special protective epoxy powder coating DecsaCOATING PLUS, an additional protection available in all RAL colours.

The CFR-C evaporative condenser is therefore particularly suitable for plant applications in industrial refrigeration while ensuring low running costs and efficient operation.
