FEATURES AND APPLICATIONS

  • Water-Glycol coolers are specially designed for small, medium and large industrial cold room, fast cooling room applications.
  • Friterm GCS ceiling mounted single discharge coolers draws air across coils. GCDD series are standard blowing two sides, ceiling mounted coolers.
  • Three phase fans provide coolers to be suitable for not only fast cooling but also low air circulation applications.
  • Friterm GCS series consist of 606 models with wide variety of accessories incorporates capacity range between 0,97 kW- 235 kW.

Coil Block

  • Inline alignment that reduce defrost duration and defrost energy consumption,
  • 4-7-10-12 mm of standard fin pitches Copper/Stainless steel (AISI 304) tubes special for air coolers
  • Aluminium fins
  • Inlet and outlet connectors are copper/stainless steel (AISI 304),

Casing

  • Casing material is AlMg3 or magnelis coated steel depending on model and dimensions.
  • All products are powder coated with RAL 9016 providing high corrosion resistance, smooth surface and decorative appearance.
  • Special feet structure that makes carrying and installation easier. (except air coolers with Ø300- 350 mm fan)

Drip Tray

  • Dismountable drip tray for air coolers with Ø630 mm and greater fans
  • Hinged drip tray for air coolers with Ø500 mm and smaller fans
  • Special air insulated tray structure which prevents formation of condensation water at the outside surface.

CASING

  • Casing material is AlMg3 or galvanised steel depending on model and dimensions.
  • All products are electroststically powder coated with RAL 9016 providing high corrosion resistance, smooth surface and decorative appearance.
  • Hinged side covers and drip tray for easy access.
  • Special lifting eyes and supporting legs make transportation and installation easier (small air coolers with Ø300- 350 mm are delivered without supporting legs)

Drip Tray

  • Dismountable drip tray for air coolers with Ø630- 800 mm fan,
  • Hinged drip tray for air coolers with Ø300- 350- 400- 450- 500 mm fan,
  • Thermally decoupled tray which prevents formation of condensation at the outside surface.

FANS

  • Highly efficient axial Ziehl Abegg, EBM or equivalent fans are used for 300-350-400-450-500-630-800 mm diameters.
  • Motor protection IP44 (Ø 400- 350- 300 mm) and IP54 (Ø 800- 630- 500- 450 mm); insulation class B and F.
  • Minimum working temperatures are -25˚C for monophase fans and -40˚C for three phase fans.
  • Special fans should be used under operating conditions below -40˚C.
  • 300/350/400/450 mm fans 230V 1~50 Hz; 500/630/800 mm fans 400V 3~50Hz,
  • Three phase fans can work at two different speeds.
  • Variable fan speed regulation can be achieved using three phase fans with frequency inverter and sine filter.
  • Working at low ambient temperature and high air resistance; thermistors must be used for motor protection.
  • Friterm reserves the right to use fans of different manufacturers. Depending on the type, the fan data may slightly vary.

SOUND DATA

  • Indicated sound pressure levels comply with EN 13487.
  • Sound levels are obtained from sound power levels (LwA) of the fans.
  • Consult an expert for critical sound requirements.
